Magazine Production Staff<br />

A lecture/laboratory course in which the<br />

organization, formula, format and production<br />

methods of magazines are studied<br />

and applied in the development of a college<br />

Cosmetology<br />

(Cosmetology Department)<br />

Upon successful completion of 1600 clock<br />

hours of applied preparation in lecture and<br />

lab experience in Cosmetology 140, 152,<br />

153, 154, 155, 156, 157, 158, 159, 163,<br />

and 164, the student will be issued 57<br />

units of credit and will be eligible to take<br />

the State Board of Cosmetology examination<br />

to become a licensed cosmetologist.<br />

<strong>Citrus</strong> <strong>College</strong> also offers advanced<br />

courses for licensed cosmetologists and<br />

barbers, skin care, and cosmetology instructor<br />

following areas: careers in cosmetology,<br />

sanitation, bacteriology, manicuring, pedicuring,<br />

artificial nails, trichology, hair and<br />

scalp treatments, haircutting, wet hair-<br />

styling, thermal hairstyling, permanent<br />

waving, chemical hair straightening, hair<br />

coloring and bleaching, anatomy, physiology,<br />

chemistry, dermatology, facial treatments,<br />
