initiate, and operate an Emergency<br />

Operations Center (EOC). The course provides<br />

a study of determining the location<br />

for an EOC, the physical set-up of the<br />

EOC, and the management of EOC operations<br />

both in emergency and non-emergent<br />

The English program offers courses from<br />

the pre-collegiate through the college<br />

sophomore levels to provide students with<br />

a comprehensive foundation for writing,<br />

textual analysis, and critical thinking which<br />

will help them to succeed in composition<br />

and literature courses, as well as enter a<br />

satisfying occupation or profession. The<br />

English program reflects the di<strong>ver</strong>sity<br />

found in the college population and fosters<br />

a strong liberal arts background through<br />

rigorous instruction in literature and its<br />

cultural contexts, including history, philosophy,<br />

politics and religion. Courses are sequenced<br />

appropriately to lead to an A.A.<br />
