Participation This conference will draw upon a number of
concepts and popular terminologies and the relationship
between these and education, especially in light of the
Palestinian situation and the distortion that this creates. The
conference will present working papers relating to the role
of education in achieving a just peace and equality between
people and nations and examine how it can stand up to the
persecution and racial discrimination emanating from the
dominant parts of some nations. In addition, the conference
will consider the Palestinian viewpoint regarding the
difference between the just peace sought by the Palestinian
people, which is based on international criteria and the
basic human right of nations and individuals to a free life in
an independent state and the structure and surrender that
Israel is trying to impose.
