Education as a tool for development and identity promotion<br />
Hanin Abdul Jalil, Hosni Awad, Lina Salman, Awni Shahrour,<br />
Khalid Barham This conference is associated with human<br />
development and the mechanisms for education recruitment<br />
in the development process. This conference will consider<br />
the links between the needs of Palestinian society for<br />
development given the current living conditions under the<br />
Israeli occupation and the pursuit of the Palestinian people to<br />
promote national identity in the face of the ongoing attempts to<br />
blur and dissolve its national identity. Following subjects will<br />
also be presented: The experience of Tulkarem Directorate<br />
during Al-Aqsa Intifada; engaging learning technology<br />
in education; education and critical thinking; occupation,<br />
destruction and pollution; the reality of the Palestinian water.<br />

Campaign This workshop will examine the relationship<br />
between grass-roots campaigning and victory or defeat in<br />
legal struggles over Palestine solidarity. Recent European<br />
trials show a decisive and probably irreversible shift in<br />
public attitudes towards Israel. Practical lessons are drawn<br />

It is not just about WHAT people learn, but also HOW<br />
they learn. No matter the subject, the teaching methods<br />
influence the outcome of the learning process. This event<br />
will take the form of a discussion about how adults learn<br />
and how various teaching methods can be used in formal<br />
and informal adult education.<br />

Basketball match for girls at<br />
Right to play One of the principles of the right to play is<br />
integration as for example integration of females in sports.<br />
This will give them an opportunity to play sports in a team,<br />
which contributes to character building and life skills. A<br />
basketball match will be held between the Friends School<br />
and the School Community College aiming to promote fair<br />

Handball match for boys at Tulkarem cultural sport club<br />
Right to play This handball match will be held between<br />
the governmental School of Tulkarem and the Al Khadouri<br />
College of Tulkarem. The goal of the game is to encourage<br />
participation of different school teams and enhancing<br />
communication and skills development in addition to<br />
stressing the importance of participation and play within<br />
the team and strengthen a fairness and respect for the<br />
opponent within a safe school environment.<br />
