Le 35ème festival aura lieu du 15 mars au 14 avril sous la présidence
de S.A.R. la Princesse de Hanovre pour plus d’un mois de
découvertes musicales tous azimuts dans des formats de concerts
innovants. L’édition 2019 met en lumière le concerto et le quatuor à
cordes et ses aspects les moins connus qui recèlent une grande
modernité. Le Festival rend un hommage appuyé à deux des plus
passionnantes figures du XX e siècle : Mauricio Kagel et Karlheinz
Stockhausen. Laissez-vous emporter par leur musique inouïe et rare !
Chaque année, le Festival met à l’honneur une forme de musique
prestigieuse, invitée d’un pays lointain. C’est le tour des chants mongols
d’être invités : les musiciens nomades ont cultivé un « chant diaphonique »,
magie sonore qui traduit la communication avec l’au-delà en symbiose
avec la nature sauvage. Ne manquez pas « le voyage surprise » que le
public continue de plébisciter : tout le monde s’embarque en bus pour
une destination inconnue, avec comme seule garantie à l’arrivée d’être
étonné et saisi par des musiques originales et un lieu tout aussi
surprenant !

The 35th festival taking place from March 15th to April 14th under the
presidency of HRH the Princess of Hanover will bring over a month of
exciting musical discoveries in innovative concert formats. The 2019
edition will highlight the concerto and string quartet with its leastknown
aspects, offering remarkable modernity. The Festival will also
pay major tributes to two of the 20th century's most fascinating
composers: Mauricio Kagel and Karlheinz Stockhausen. Let yourself be
carried away by their rare and amazing music! Each year, the Festival
honours a prestigious form of music, a guest from a distant land. In
2019, it is the turn of Mongol song to be invited: nomad musicians who
have cultivated "diaphonic chanting", magical sound aiming for
communication with the beyond in symbiosis with untamed nature.
Then do not miss "the surprise trip" that the public continues to
applaud: everyone boards a bus for an unknown destination, with just
one guarantee: that of being astounded on arrival by original music in
a place that is just as amazing!
