MONTE-CARLO, IN A FABULOUS WINTER GARDEN.<br />

’Odyssey, lieu chicissime comprenant un pool-house, une terrasse,<br />
des jardins et un restaurant, est une véritable œuvre d’art griffée<br />
pour l’hôtel par Karl Lagerfeld.<br />
Le maître de l’élégance y a insufflé une atmosphère stylée, dans une<br />
esthétique déco balnéaire où règne le climat de félicité d’un pur eden et<br />
où on goûte des heures claires autour de la piscine à l’envoûtant parfum<br />
d’évasion. La fresque murale photographique de dix-huit paravents de<br />
verre, pièce maîtresse du concept, y raconte l’épopée d’Ulysse, héros le<br />
plus célèbre de la mythologie grecque, qui se rejoue à travers les<br />
mannequins favoris de Karl Lagerfeld, ephèbes ou guerriers. Odyssey<br />
rayonne dans tout son éclat d’exception pour un instant unique, où le<br />
temps n’a plus d’emprise.<br />

A very chic setting comprised of a pool-house, terrace, gardens and a<br />
restaurant, the Odyssey is a real work of art designed for the hotel by<br />
Karl Lagerfeld.<br />
The master of elegance has endowed it with a stylish atmosphere and<br />
esthetics recalling seaside decor: a feeling of bliss reigns here in a<br />
perfect Garden of Eden where one basks in sunlight around the pool,<br />
bewitched by its enchanting, dreamlike spell. The centrepiece of the<br />
concept, the photographic wall fresco consisting of eighteen glass<br />
screens tells the tale of Ulysses, the most famous hero in Greek<br />
mythology, acted out by Karl Lagerfeld's favourite models as ephebes<br />
or warriors. Odyssey offers its shimmering radiance for a unique<br />
moment when time stands still.<br />
