IS OPENING UP TO DESIGN AND ORGANIZING TOP-NOTCH EVENTS OUTSIDE ITS WALLS.
Sous le Haut Patronage du Prince Albert II de Monaco et la direction
de Thomas Hug, fondateur d’artgenève, artmonte-carlo invite depuis
2016 les plus prestigieuses galeries internationales d’art moderne et
contemporain : Gagosian, Pace, Perrotin, Marian Goodman, Kamel
Mennour, de Jonckheere, Marlborough, Almine Rech, Michael Werner
ou Tornabuoni Art. Pour sa prochaine édition, artmonte-carlo accueillera
le Pavilion of Art & Design. Le célèbre salon londonien et parisien
présentera une trentaine de galeries spécialisées dans le design de
collection et les arts premiers dont David Gill, Lucas Ratton ou
Dumonteil. Cette année, Le « Prix Solo artmontecarlo - F.P.Journe » sera
décerné à la meilleure exposition monographique, et la prestigieuse
maison horlogère genevoise permettra l’acquisition d’une œuvre de
l’artiste primé qui sera offerte en donation à un musée. Autre nouveauté,
artmonte-carlo entreprend une série d’événements hors les murs : Outre
son partenariat avec la maison Riva au Monaco Yacht Show, artmontecarlo
investit le nouveau pavillon d’architecture de la Serpentine gallery
de Londres pendant Frieze Art Fair, un group show dans le cadre de la
Berlin Art Week, allant ainsi à la rencontre des collectionneurs et VIPs
internationaux qui découvrent ensuite l’activité artistique exceptionnelle
de la Principauté.

Since 2016, under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco and
the direction of Thomas Hug, founder of artgenève, artmonte-carlo has
invited the most prestigious international galleries of modern and
contemporary art: Gagosian, Pace, Perrotin, Marian Goodman, Kamel
Mennour, de Jonckheere, Marlborough, Almine Rech, Michael Werner,
Tornabuoni Art. For its next edition, artmonte-carlo will welcome the
Pavilion of Art & Design. The famous London and Paris fair will present
about 30 galleries specializing in collector design and primitive arts,
including David Gill, Lucas Ratton ou Dumonteil. This year, the "Prix
Solo artmontecarlo - F.P. Journe" will be awarded to the best one-man
show, and the prestigious watch manufacturer of Geneva will allow
for the acquisition of a work by the winning artist which will be
donated to a museum. Another new feature, artmonte-carlo will hold
a series of events in other venues: in addition to its partnership with
Riva at the Monaco Yacht Show, it will take over the new architecture
pavilion of London's Serpentine Gallery during the Frieze Art Fair, a
group show held as part of the Berlin Art Week, thus meeting collectors
and international VIPs who then discover the outstanding artistic
activity of the Principality.
