PRESENTS A NEW HANG DEDICATED TO ONE OF THE GREATEST PAINTERS OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY.<br />
La Francis Bacon MB Art Foundation, institution à but non lucratif<br />
basée à Monaco, a été créée par Majid Boustany. Elle consacre ses<br />
activités d’étude et de recherche à l’un des artistes britanniques majeurs<br />
du XXe siècle et permet une meilleure compréhension de l’œuvre, de la<br />
vie et du processus créatif de Francis Bacon. Cet automne, un nouvel<br />
accrochage présente une centaine de pièces liées au peintre : tableaux,<br />
œuvres graphiques, photographies, objets provenant de ses ateliers,<br />
œuvres d’artistes l’ayant côtoyé ou ayant été influencés par son travail…<br />
La Fondation offre au visiteur une approche tout à fait inédite : celle d’un<br />
amateur passionné qui a rassemblé une collection exceptionnelle<br />
entièrement dédiée à Francis Bacon, en portant une attention toute<br />
particulière à la période durant laquelle il a vécu et travaillé à Monaco et<br />
en France. Cette expérience fascinante et unique permet de découvrir<br />
les détails captivants de chaque pièce présentée et leur mise en<br />
perspective. Les salles thématiques permettent aux visiteurs d'explorer<br />
les différents aspects de l'art et de la vie de Bacon dans un lieu intimiste<br />
à l'ambiance feutrée.<br />
The Francis Bacon MB Art Foundation, a non-profit institution based<br />
in Monaco, was established by Majid Boustany. It devotes its scholarly<br />
activities and research to one of the leading British artists of the<br />
twentieth century to promote a deeper understanding of the work, life<br />
and creative process of Francis Bacon. This autumn, a new hang<br />
includes around a hundred items related to Bacon: paintings, graphic<br />
works, photographs, objects found in his studios, works by artists who<br />
knew him or were influenced by his art… The Foundation - created by<br />
a passionate art lover who has gathered a remarkable collection<br />
entirely dedicated to Francis Bacon – offers a singular way for visitors<br />
to immerse themselves in Bacon’s work, with a particular focus on the<br />
time he lived and worked in Monaco and France. It is a truly unique<br />
and absorbing experience that provides intriguing detail and<br />
perspectives on every exhibit. The rooms are themed, allowing visitors<br />
to explore different aspects of Bacon’s life and art in this intimate place,<br />
with its enveloping atmosphere.<br />
