Il 18 gennaio 1202, “Apud Castrum
Pulverisie”, fu stipulata “La Pace di
Polverigi”. Il cuore dell’antico borgo
fortificato è racchiuso tra le mura del
“Roccolo”, caratteristico rione dalla
forma circolare.
"The Peace of Polverigi" was signed on January
18th, 1202, "Apud Castrum Pulverisie".
The heart of the ancient fortified village is
enclosed within the walls of the "Roccolo", a
characteristic quarter with a circular shape.

Polverigi is a small fortified
village located on
the inland hills of Ancona.
Its heart is the quarter
of "Il Roccolo". On 18th
January 1202, at the
"Castrum Pulverisie", the
castle ancient name, it
was signed "The Peace
of Polverigi", an important
