81. Interviewee: Impartiality. I mean it is quite important. I rate as a “three”.
82. Interviewer: ok. What about cultural awareness.
83. Interviewee: well. Speaking of career, another “three”. Yeah. – moderate.
84. Interviewer: yah. What about “realistic expectation”?
85. Interviewee: well. I don’t know what it is. If realistic expectation are a kind of not thinking
about big things – I don’t know how to explain it – I think it is a “three”.
86. Interviewer: fine. And how important was flexibility in order to develop your career?
87. Interviewee: bah. Flexibility, yah, is a good point. I think it is “five”. It is what these kind of
companies really need from us. So the flexibility – no?
88. Interviewer: yes. So tell me tolerance of ambiguity, was that important?
89. Interviewee: well, I don’t think this has something to do with the career. So I would say
90. Interviewer: mhm. And mobility? How important was mobility for advancing your career?
91. Interviewee: What do you mean with mobility?
92. Interviewer: oh, it is about your flexibility to work at other locations, maybe abroad and
doing business trips.
93. Interviewee: oh, I never had issues with business trips. But – I have to say, that I did it 3
times, so, not so often. Yah. But I think, over all speaking, is a “four”. Yah.
94. Interviewer: ok. – now, we have finished the part with the ratings. We have several items
you have rated as a five. This is: actively influence the public image and reputation, then, errr
communication, trust, visibility and flexibility. Which of those items do you think are the most
important?
95. Interviewee: well I think trust is important.
96. Interviewer: and if you have to name two other Items? What do you think is most important
as well?
97. Interviewee: yeh, yeh, yeh, I am just thinking about them. Then I would say communication is
also very important. Because the way you communicate with others with your peers, with the
managers –very important. And – errr – what else - - - - - I would say flexibility.
98. Interviewer: ok. Thanks. Could you now describe 2 actions you have taken in respect of
trust?
99. Interviewee: hmm. Well, possibly you see that trust is something that you build with your
peers and your manager ya, I mean over the years. So – for example you see a good example for
