trust is when someone of my peers asks me something – and – I think they can trust me. Because,
errr, I am able to give them – errr- you know – errr – they ask me something – the peers or the
manager, and they know I will get back to them – yeh- with something. And also for example if I am
not able to do that, I am not lying to them. I would say, “look, I am not able to do that” so they, - you
see – they – how can I say – they rely on my honesty, here. They trust me, yah, it is quite difficult to
explain – very badly, yah, but I think you got the point here. So the trust between me and my peer
and my manager, if they ask me something they know I will get back to them somehow, and they
know, if they ask me something I will work them. Yah. And I will take the exposibility for what they
have asked me to do. And they know that I will bring these things to end and not abandon. And then
just without think the answer. They know I am a trustedfully resource. Well, I think it is quite
connected to communication as well. That is more with wrote back communication, which
sometimes I am not very good at. Like you know – now. But we think communication is very
important. When I write an email, complaining about something, yah, I always get to the point very,
very clear. And say: “look this is the issue, we need to fix this”. So – blah –blah – blah- yah, so the
com – my communication, the way I communicate, internally and externally I think it is very very
always very clear and straightforward to the point so that is quite important. Sorry – but I cannot say
– you know – I cannot recall any example yah, it is just a general way I work yah.
100. Interviewer: mhm,
101. Interviewee: and errr Flexibility. Errr, that’s … errr … you see errr…. that’s…. to be flexible errr
… towards, … you know … my peers …expectation , the customer expectation, if I know that
something cannot be done ya, for some reason, ya, but the customer still ask for some kind of
something, ya, I try to be flexible and think like the customer, so I try to think like the customer and
to put the same kind of request to engineering – Symantec engineering for example so this example
you know being flexible you know to meet – you know - --- errr --- to go with something, you know,
it can be related to assertiveness, if you are too much assertive with customer ya, so he asks “can
this thing be done”, yah, and you say “no, it cannot”, yah, but if you are flexible you can say “no, it
cannot be done but why do you need to do this?” yah, “why do you need to know this?” “ is there
any other way we can do that?” or what we can do – you know – from a Symantec point of view –
“to meet your requirements”, so this kind of mental flexibility, I think it is quite important. I do not
know if you got the point I think yes.
102. Interviewer: mhm. Absolutely, yes.
103. Interviewee: ok.
