This medium supports the growth of almost all cell lines.
For example it is used for pancreas cells, sertoli cells or
to culture cells, which are used for human protein production.
It combines the advantages of both media DMEM
(high concentration of amino acids and vitamins) and
Ham‘s F12 (higher concentration of zinc sulphate, putrescine
and linoleic acid).

Zelllinien. Zum Beispiel findet es Anwendung bei Pancreaszellen,
Sertolizellen und wird zur Kultivierung von Zelllinien
für die Produktion von Humanproteinen verwendet. Es
vereint die Vorteile der beiden Medien DMEM (hohe Konzentration
der Aminosäuren und Vitamine) und Ham‘s F12
