Dulbecco‘s Modified Eagle Medium/Dulbecco‘s modifiziertes Eagle Medium
Intrinsically developed for the cultivation of murine embryonic
cells, the DMEM is tailor-made for the cultivation of
a broad range of cells, especially if the media is supplemented
with FBS. DMEM is an Ealge Medium modification with
the four-fold content of amino acids and vitamins. DMEM
with 1.0 g/l Glucose is the standard media, whereas DMEM
with 4.5 g/l Glucose is for cells which has a high energy
demand.
Description/Beschreibung
Eigentlich entwickelt für das Kultivieren von murinen Embryozellen,
ist das DMEM wie geschaffen für die Kultivierung
eines breiten Spektrums von Zellen, besonders wenn
das Medium mit Kälberserum supplementiert wurde.
DMEM ist eine Eagle Medium Modifikation mit dem vierfachen
Gehalt an Aminosäuren und Vitaminen. Das DMEM
mit 1,0 g/l ist die Standardrezeptur, während das DMEM
mit 4,5 g/l Glucose für Zellen mit hohem Energiebedarf
entwickelt wurde.
