Human Serum is manufactured from Human Plasma by<br />
adding calcium chloride. After removing the clot, the Human<br />
Serum is washed and concentrated by ultrafiltration and<br />
finally filtered through a combination of depth- and<br />
membrane-filters.<br />

Off the clot Serum is prepared from human whole blood<br />
collected without any coagulant, allowed to clot at room<br />
temperature and then centrifuged to remove the clot. We<br />
provide single donor units as well as pooled Off the clot<br />
Serum.<br />
Off the clot Serum is filtered through depth-and membranefilters<br />
before filling.<br />

Humanes Serum wird aus menschlichem Plasma durch<br />
Zugabe von Calciumchlorid hergestellt. Nach dem Entfernen<br />
des Blutkuchens wird <strong>da</strong>s humane Serum gewaschen,<br />
durch Ultrafiltration aufkonzentriert und schließlich durch<br />
eine Kombination von Tiefen- und Membran-Filtern filtriert.<br />
