SUBBASE THICKNESS TEST<br />

After trimming, is the thickness of the subbase being<br />

checked?<br />

CRAINAGF,<br />

Is the subgrade being kept drained during all<br />

operations? Are all berms of earth deposited adjacent<br />

to the grade being kept drained by cutting lateral<br />

ditches through the berms?<br />

LUG SYSTEMS (CONTINUOUSLY REINFORCED)<br />

If concrete lug end anchorages are specified, are they<br />

staked and checked for dimensions and re-bar placement<br />

as shown in the plans?<br />

Are they constructed of Structural Concrete at least<br />

24 hours prior to <strong>pavement</strong> construction?<br />

LONGITUDINAJ, JOINT KEYWAY AND BARS<br />

Are the beginning and ending stations marked where<br />

adjacent curb, median, or <strong>pavement</strong> will.necessitate the<br />

placement of keyway and/or bars in the edge of the<br />

proposed <strong>pavement</strong>?<br />

SUPERELEVATION STAKING<br />

Are the plan curb data examined for all curves to<br />

determine where to stake the beginning and ending<br />

stations for a&l superelevation transitions?<br />

TEMPERATZTRE TJMITATIONS<br />

Does the outside air temperature in the shade meet<br />

State specifications?<br />

Does the temperature of the concrete meet State<br />

smcifications at the time of placement?<br />

REINFORCEMENT TAPPING<br />

Are the locations and lengths of lap for bar or fabric<br />

reinforcement in conformance with the specifications.<br />

Are all bar and fabric laps being tied?<br />
