All .charts and records documenting the contractor's<br />
quality control inspections and tests should become<br />
property of the State upon completion of the work.<br />
5. Corrective Action:<br />
The contractor should take prompt action'to correct<br />
conditions which have resulted, or could result, in<br />
the submission to the State of materials and<br />
products which do not conform to the requirements of<br />
the Contract documents.<br />
6. Non-Conforming Material%:<br />

The contractor should establish and maintain an<br />
effective and positive system for controlling<br />
non-conforming material, including procedures for<br />
its identification, isolation, and disposition.<br />
Reclaiming or reworking of non-conforming materials<br />
should be in accordance with procedures acceptable<br />
to the State.<br />
All- non-conforming materials and products should be<br />
positively identified to prevent use, shipment, and<br />
intermingling with conforming materials and<br />
products. Holding areas, mutually agreeable to the<br />
State and the contractor, should be provided by the<br />
contractor.<br />
The State will monitor the performance of the<br />
contractor's quality control plan and will perform<br />
verification testing to ensure that proper sampling<br />
and testing procedures are used by the contractor.<br />
The State may shut down the contractors operations<br />
for failing to follow the approved process control<br />
plan. All acceptance testing will be performed by<br />
State personnel.<br />
