5) STABLING/VETERINARIAN: 54 permanent stalls in addition there will be 50 temporary stalls
in the adjoining indoor enclosure. $75 per night includes one bale of straw. STRAW BEDDING ONLY!
Include a SEPARATE $50 check muck deposit. Competitors wishing to stay for the week must make
arrangements through secretary. Bedding/Hay available for purchase ONLY if preordered on stabling
form. Veterinarian: # at Secretary's stand, Vet on grounds for duration. Farrier - Josh Eggink (301-418-
1237) will be on the grounds.

7) DIRECTIONS: Address: 1235 Park Mills Road, Adamstown, MD 21710 From Route 15 in
Maryland or Virginia: At Pt of Rocks, turn South onto MD-28 / CLAY ST. At stop sign turn right to
continue on MD-28. Turn LEFT onto PARK MILLS RD. Event is 1.1 miles on left. From I-70 in MD: exit
# 54 onto MD-355 South/ URBANA PIKE. Turn right onto Park Mills Road. Event is 6.4 miles on right.
8) DRESSAGE: Test & arena sizes: All I-2010 USEF Intermediate Test A-Std. All P-2010 USEF
Preliminary Test A-Sm. All T-2010 USEF Training Test A-Sm. All N-2010 USEF Novice Test A-Sm.
BN-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Dressage Arenas: all-weather footing.
9) CROSS-COUNTRY: ALL I- 3200 m @ 550 mpm. All P-2600 m @ 520 mpm. All T-2400 m @ 420
mpm. All N-2000 m 350 mpm. All BN-1600 m @ 325. mpm. Footing is old established turf, good
footing, will be aggravated and watered. BN/N good confidence building courses no change from week
1. T/P less difficult than week 1, with the idea of being good move up courses for confident qualified
horse/rider combinations. OI moderate. SJ and Dressage. Arenas: all-weather footing.
10) OTHER INFORMATION: New additions, tracks and features to the xctry course for 2011.
Competition Cross-country course open for schooling for the week of July 18. 10a – 6 p. weather
permitting. Cross-country schooling course open daily by appointment (301)514-0111. See website
for details www.themarylandhorsetrials.com Wine & cheese party each event day for competitors
and volunteers. All dogs must be leashed per USEF rule GR 301.6. Failure to comply may result in
elimination and fine. No dogs on course. Concessions available on grounds. No motorized vehicles
on course. Water on grounds but it is advised to bring your own. Non-competing horses require Neg.
