5) STABLING/VETERINARIAN: $115/stall from Thursday 9am to Sunday 6pm (early arrivals with<br />

secretary approval). 160 temporary stalls on grounds. Stall doors & initial bag of shavings only provided.<br />

Shavings ($10/bag), alfalfa ($15/bale), oat ($15/bale) available through secretary or by pre-order<br />

if payment arrives before June 20th). Absolutely no haul-ins. Non-competing horses: $100<br />

grounds fee (includes Sun XC school) and additional stall fee. Veteriarian: TBD. Farrier: TBD<br />

7) DIRECTIONS: Address: 1399 W. Hwy 154, Santa Ynez, CA 93460. From North: Hwy 101 to 154<br />

approx. 7 miles, left on Baseline at stop sign, an immediate right after church. Follow Baseline to sign<br />

on right (approx. 1 mile). Dirt road will take you to stabling. From South: Hwy 101 to 154 west from<br />

Santa Barbara across San Marcos Pass, approx. 25 miles after starting on 154. Turn right on Baseline at<br />

stop sign before Shepherd of the Valley Church. Take immediate right to continue on Baseline & follow<br />

approx. 1 mi. to sign on right. Dirt road will take you to stabling.<br />

8) DRESSAGE: All tests in small arenas with sand footing. All Preliminary - 2010 USEF Preliminary<br />

Test A. All Training - 2010 USEF Training Test A. All Novice - 2010 USEF Novice Test A. All Beginner<br />

Novice - 2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B. All Intro - 2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test A.<br />

9) CROSS-COUNTRY: Course closed after Sunday June 12th. All courses over tilled paths when<br />

over pasture grass. Preliminary - 2600 m @ 520 mpm. Training - 2200 m @ 420 mpm. Novice<br />

- 1800 m @ 350 mpm. Beginner Novice - 1600 m @ 350 mpm, max height 2'7", 14 efforts. Intro<br />

- 1300 m @ 300 mpm, height 20-24", 12-14 jumping efforts, water optional. All courses: Average, for<br />

horses with some experience at these levels. Studs recommended for all divisions.<br />

10) OTHER INFORMATION: Entries Limited to 160 temporary stalls onsite, priority given in order<br />

of arrival of entries (complete entries only). Rider limited levels may be divided/combined as entries<br />

warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Prize list available from<br />

secretary. Food on grounds. Dogs allowed on leash only, strictly enforced!!! Owners of dogs<br />

not on leash must donate $100 to SYVPC Horse Trials. Thursday Pre-Dressage: Ride your dressage<br />

test in competition arena before "L" judge for ring exposure and last-minute tips. Times available from<br />

1-5pm. $30 per ride. Pre-assigned times available via coordination with the secretary only if payment<br />

is received by June 20th. All ride times assigned on "first come first served" basis. Time slots<br />

limited. Sunday XC Schooling: Following completion of all divisions school the XC course. $50 per<br />

horse. Arrange through secretary at event.<br />
