after 9 am on July 12; waitlist expires at that time. refunds: Before C.D: less $25 non-refundable office<br />

fee*. After C.D: no refund for entry or stabling unless entry and/or stall can be filled from wait list, less<br />

$25 non-refundable office fee*. Competition cancellation: No refund. Copy of negative Coggins within<br />

12 months required for all horses and must accompany entry. U.S. CIC horses must be registered<br />

with USEF and FEI (see forms on Stuart website: www.stuarthorsetrials.org) and be in possession of a<br />

USEF National Passport obtained through the USEF office in Kentucky. Foreign CIC Horses must be in<br />

possession of an FEI Passport. Riders and horses must be annually registered with the FEI. Please refer<br />

to www.horsesport.org(FEI) & USEF Rules for <strong>Eventing</strong> for FEI CIC2* qualifications and requirements/<br />

USEF Rules for <strong>Eventing</strong> for CIC1*. Masters Divisions: 40 yrs. & over (determined by calendar year),<br />

MUST state birth date on entry. Junior Divisions: 18 yrs. & under (determined by calendar year), MUST<br />

state birth date on entry.<br />

2) tEntativE SCHEdULE: Wed: Horses may arrive at noon. Earlier arrivals must be cleared with<br />

show secretary. Cross-country courses open-3 PM. thurs: Dressage-8 AM (all novice and some other<br />

divisions); Novice Cross-country-1-4 PM Fri: Dressage-8 AM; Novice Show Jumping-9 AM Sat: Crosscountry-8<br />

AM. Sun: Show Jumping-8 AM.<br />

3) aWardS: CIC2*:$5000 purse from Stuart Horse Trials, Inc. with prize money for one out of 4<br />

starters paid to owner of horse per FEI regulations. CIC1*: $2500 purse divided as per above. All<br />

other divisions: 8 ribbons and prize money for 1st-4th. 1st place winners receive an exclusive Stuart<br />

Horse Trials tartan cooler and Maui Jim Sunglasses. Masters (40 and over) and Juniors (18 and under)<br />

divisions pinned within overall levels. Age determined by calendar year. State birthdate on entry. Awards<br />

for highest placing OTTB horse per division kindness of Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program.<br />

Register eligible horses with secretary.<br />

4) StartinG tiMES: Available July 11: www.stuarthorsetrials.org or www.area1usea.org.<br />

5) StaBLinG/vEtErinarian: Limited. $160/stall from NOON Wed. thru 5 PM Sun. 220 temp stalls<br />

on grounds, some additional off grounds.Tack stalls may be available if space allows. Noncompetition<br />

horses must pay $50 grounds fee in addition to stabling fee. Bedding: shavings only! One bale of<br />

shavings provided. Additional shavings for sale on grounds. Stabling Chairman: Ruth Coney (585-313-<br />

8274). MANDATORY $50 stall cleaning deposit is required. Include separate check, made payable to<br />

Stuart Horse Trials, Inc., with entry. Check destroyed if stall left stripped. MUST check in with secretary to<br />

have stall checked before deposit is returned. Any damage to the temporary stables will be charged to<br />

competitor. Veterinarians: Dr. Peter Blauner, FEI Vet; Genesee Valley Equine Clinic (585-889-1170). # on<br />
