AREA VIII EVENTS<br />
2) TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: Thurs: Cross-country courses open for inspection-3 pm. Fri: 8:00 a.m. P<br />
and T Dressage and Show Jumping Sat: 7:30 a.m. P and T Cross-country. All N and BN Dressage. All BN<br />
Show Jumping. Some Novice Show Jumping, Some Novice divisions will do Cross-country. Sun: 7:30<br />
a.m. All BN Cross-country. Remaning Novice Cross-country and Show Jumping.<br />
3) AWARDS: Trophy & 10 ribbons per division.<br />
4) STARTING TIMES: Times Available July 11th on web site www.champagnerun.com.<br />
5) STABLING/VETERINARIAN: $40/night. 800 perm. stalls on grounds. Stall doors only provided.<br />
Feed/hay/bedding/paddocks, golf carts available for purchase/rent from Dever Hay Grain & Bedding<br />
(800) 714-2201. You must call for bedding in advance for late night arrivals. NOTE: If you have a group<br />
wishing to stable together you MUST use either 1 person´s name or the stable name. This is the only way<br />
to ensure you are stabled together. Stall doors only provided. If not stabling on grounds you must include<br />
one time $30/horse haul in fee for entry to be complete. Non-competing horse fee/grounds fee $30<br />
plus ship-in or stall fee. Tack stall fees: $40/night. Veterinarian: Equine Health Care, (859) 873-5509,<br />
additional numbers posted at secretary's office. Any requested stabling assignment change (if different<br />
from that on entry stabling form) will incurr a $25 fee, if we are able to make the change. $50 charge for<br />
any stabling changes not made by secretary.<br />

7551. Shoney´s Inn-5 mi. (859) 868-9800. Camping: Kentucky Horse Park Campground: Now taking<br />
reservations! Call 888-459-7275 or check on KYhorsepark.com under camping reservations. Competition<br />
does NOT reserve sites.<br />
7) DIRECTIONS: The Kentucky Horse Park is 3 miles north of Lexington on I-75 at exit 120. Follow signs.<br />
8) DRESSAGE: Test & arena sizes: All P-2010 USEF Preliminary Test B-Sm. All T-2010 USEF Training<br />
Test B-Sm. All N-2010 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. All BN- 2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm.<br />
Arenas: Sand.<br />
9) CROSS-COUNTRY: P-2800 m @ 520mpm. T-2400 m @ 450 mpm. N-2000 m @ 375 mpm.<br />
BN-2000 m @ 350 mpm. Terrain: Open, rolling Bluegrass. All courses: Moderate difficulty, suitable for<br />
horses with some experience at their level.<br />
10) OTHER INFORMATION: Cross-country course closed. May have schooling on Sun after event,<br />
see www.champagnerun.com for details after closing date. Levels may be divided/combined as entries<br />
warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Food on grounds. Dogs<br />
must be leashed. TRADE FAIR! Please do not switch or use stalls without contacting the sec´y. Will be<br />
fined $50.<br />
