AREA II EVENTS<br />

must accompany entry (or be received by secretary at least one week before competition and entry<br />

should indicate date it will be sent). Please include email address. If AREA II Adult Rider, please<br />

indicate on entry as we will have special divisions and Team competition if entries warrant. Youth<br />

Team Challenge (21 and under): please indicate on entry whether you are part of a pre-arranged<br />

team of wish to be assigned to a team. See website for details.<br />

Tests of Choice: Each rider/horse combination may enter any combination of up to three tests, but<br />

any horse may only enter 2 XC tests including the Horse Trials phase. Horses may be ridden by up to<br />

two different riders. Riders entering a Training XC test must have successfully completed at least one<br />

schooling or USEA Horse Trials at Novice. Riders and horses entering a Preliminary XC test must meet<br />

the USEF requirements for competing at that level. A complete Prize List and entry form for individual<br />

Tests of Choice are available on the website.<br />

2) TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: Please see Other Information below. Fri: Stables open-2 pm; Cross.country<br />

course open.-3 pm. Sat: Dressage (P/BN)-8 am; Show Jumping: P-11 am; BN 1 pm. Cross.country<br />

(P/BN) 20 minutes after Show Jumping. Sun: Dressage (T/N) 8 am; Show Jumping: T -11 am;<br />

N - pm; Cross.-country (T/N) 20 minutes after Show Jumping. Schedules may be switched if entries<br />

warrant. Updates to schedule will be posted on DRPC website. It is also possible that P and/or T may<br />

take place over two days.<br />

3) AWARDS: Trophy and 8 ribbons per division. Adult Rider divisions and separate Adult Rider Ribbons<br />

and team ribbons if entries warrant. Youth Team Challenge prizes and ribbons. Ribbons will be mailed<br />

on receipt of stamped, self-addressed envelope if not picked up at event.<br />

4) STARTING TIMES: Available on or before August 19 at http://drpc.ponyclub.org/ or from sec´y<br />

email. Competitors are urged to use website for starting times & email to get information. Please<br />

include email address on entry form so that the secretary can contact you regarding changes & posting<br />

times. Postcards will not be sent.<br />

5) STABLING/VETERINARIAN: Stabling in spacious permanent new barns. Rubber-matted stalls 10 x<br />

12, doors provided. Sawdust or one bag of shavings will be provided; additional bags can be purchased<br />

for $7 with entry or $10 at the horse trials. Competitors using stabling are required to pay $40 muck<br />

fee; refundable if stall is stripped clean. Separate check for muck fee is preferred. Veterinarian: TBD<br />

on grounds for duration of competition. Number will be posted at secretary stand.<br />

6) ACCOMMODATIONS: Staybridge Suites, located 1.3 miles from the park (pet and equestrian<br />
