did not move and was wondered, plague be<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> Constant<strong>in</strong>ople and Pera and made great<br />

<strong>in</strong> Scandia for 40 days.<br />

left Constant<strong>in</strong>ople. Also, that <strong>in</strong> letters of August was written that he had been expected<br />
to ride <strong>the</strong> whole of August until <strong>the</strong> 10th of September, and <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> end he has not moved<br />
and <strong>the</strong>y wonder, because plague has progressed <strong>in</strong> Constant<strong>in</strong>ople, from 700 per day and<br />
more.<br />
