Just<strong>in</strong>ian baylo, on <strong>the</strong> 10th of August, received on <strong>the</strong> 17nd of September.<br />
The Lord and <strong>the</strong> pasha fled to Beykoz out of fear of plague.<br />
Note. By way of private letter it was understood that <strong>the</strong>re <strong>in</strong> Constant<strong>in</strong>ople <strong>the</strong>re is an<br />
enormous plague outbreak, 18 of our merchants died and sir . . . Bernardo of sir Piero has<br />
plague.<br />
