Population trends. A severe <strong>red</strong>uction due to the construction <strong>of</strong> harbours (Midia,<br />

Agigea, Mangalia) near to their typical habitat.<br />

Threats. Increasing turbidity due to hydrotechnical constructions; over-exploitation.<br />
