Managing Member Histories and Revisions
Default Branch specifies the starting point of the default
branch. To specify a default branch, enter a branch number
in the Default Branch field, for example, 2.1.1.
Compressed specifies if the archive is compressed. To
compress the archive, select the Compressed checkbox.
Strict Locking specifies if a strict locking policy is in effect
for the archive. To enable strict locking, select the Strict
Locking checkbox.
Store by Reference causes each revision to be saved to a
separate file, instead of saving all revisions to one file. This
feature improves performance for archives that contain
large binary files. To store the archive by reference, select
the Store by Reference checkbox.
Archive Description describes the archive. If necessary,
enter or edit a description.
The Labels tab displays a list of revision labels in the archive,
for example, Draft1 1.1.
The Locks tab displays a list of users who have locks on
revisions in the archive, for example, gmiller 1.2.
3 To save your changes, click OK. To cancel the operation, click
Cancel.
The archive information is saved.
To view archive information in the command line interface
Use the si archiveinfo command, for example:
where
si archiveinfo --sandbox=value member
value specifies the path and name of the sandbox containing the
member whose archive information you want to view, for
example, c:/sandboxdemo/project.pj
member specifies the member whose archive information you
want to view, for example, demoapp.ico
VSky Software Manager displays the member’s archive
information, for example:
Member Name: c:/sandboxdemo/demoapp.ico
Sandbox Name: c:/sandboxdemo/project.pj
Archive Name: c:/Docs Vertical Sky Server/Projects/
