Starting a Vertical Sky Software Manager Session Before You Start the Vertical Sky Software Manager Client Before you start the VSky Software Manager Client, ensure you have the following: a copy of the VSky Software Manager Client installed locally on your computer the name and port number of the Vertical Sky Server you want to connect to your VSky Software Manager user name and password Your administrator provides you with a server name, port number, user name, and password. Starting the Vertical Sky Software Manager Client The VSky Software Manager Client is accessible in two interfaces: the graphical user interface and the command line interface. You can choose to work in one interface, or you can use both interfaces at the same time, because all VSky Software Manager commands are available in both interfaces. For example, you can perform a command in the command line interface and view the results in the graphical user interface. To start the VSky Software Manager Client graphical user interface in Windows Choose Start > Programs > Vertical Sky Solution > Software Manager (default Start menu shortcut).
