Vertical Sky Software Manager Integrations Creating a Sandbox Adding Members to a Project Checking Out Members Checking In Members To create a sandbox in Rational Rose In VSky Software Manager, create a sandbox, as described in “Creating a Sandbox” on page 48. To add members to a project in Rational Rose 1 Bring any files you want to add to the VSky Software Manager project into focus in the Rational Rose environment. 2 Choose Tools > Version Control > Add to Version Control. A list of all files that will be added to the project appears. 3 Click OK. The Create Archive dialog box appears. 4 If necessary, fill in or modify the Create Archive options, as described in “Adding Members to a Project” on page 62. 5 Click OK. To check out members in Rational Rose 1 Bring any files you want to check out into focus in the Rational Rose environment. 2 Choose Tools > Version Control > Check Out. A list of all files that will be checked out appears. 3 Click OK. The Check Out dialog box appears. 4 If necessary, fill in or modify the check out options, as described in “Checking Out a Member” on page 75. To check in members in Rational Rose 1 Bring any files you want to check in into focus in the Rational Rose environment. 2 Choose Tools > Version Control > Check In. Starbase CodeWright 6.5 Integration This section describes how to access VSky Software Manager through Starbase CodeWright 6.5. Access version control functionality from within CodeWright by choosing Tools > Version Control, then the command that corresponds to the VSky Software Manager function you want to perform. Command Function Maintenance Displays CodeWright source control options. The Maintenance dialog box appears. Put Equivalent to the VSky Software Manager Check In command. Checks in the currently active file in the CodeWright window. The Check In dialog box appears. Get Equivalent to the VSky Software Manager Resynchronize command. Gets the latest version of the selected file and puts it in your working directory. Get With Lock Equivalent to the VSky Software Manager Check Out command. Checks out a revision of the currently active file in the CodeWright window, locked for editing. The Check Out dialog box appears. Unlock Equivalent to the VSky Software Manager Revert command.
