Sybase PowerBuilder 7.0 Integration
To create a VSky Software Manager project in PowerBuilder
Note
You must create a folder for the VSky Software Manager project and
sandbox before you create them.
1 Open the PowerBuilder project you want to put under version
control.
2 Choose Window > Library Painter.
The Choose SCC Provider dialog box appears.
3 From the Vendors list, select VSky Software Manager SCC
Extension.
4 Click OK.
5 Confirm you want to create a new configuration file by clicking
Yes.
6 Set up the SCC provider, as described in the PowerBuilder
online help.
The Specify a Project dialog box appears.
7 Create a project, as described in “Creating a Project” on
page 46.
After you create a project, the Create Sandbox Wizard appears.
Note
The sandbox must be created “in-tree” of the PowerBuilder library
(.pbl) file. For example, c:/pb/si/project.pj and c:/pb/
project.pbl.
8 Create a sandbox, as described in “Creating a Sandbox” on
page 48.
