Scientific Theory - In <strong>the</strong> presence <strong>of</strong> LDR, <strong>the</strong> electric<br />

resistance is negligible but in <strong>the</strong> absence <strong>of</strong> light, LDR<br />

shows high electric resistance.<br />

The energy following thought LDR is negligible, when<br />

light rays fall on it. We need to magnify this value. In this<br />

models 3npn transistor, BC547 is used to enhance <strong>the</strong><br />

energy which intensifies power <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> relay & it becomes<br />

active. The pin in contact with it gets altered. In this way<br />

by using this device, o<strong>the</strong>r electrical devices could be run.<br />

Relay is an electromagnetic device that starts acting as an<br />

electromagnet with flow <strong>of</strong> current though it.<br />

Application - 1. Lighting <strong>of</strong> street light. 2. Auto dipper<br />

control. 3. In parking light as battery saver. 4. As fire<br />

extinguishing equipment.<br />
