CONSERVATION OF BIO – DIVERSITY --- AT A GLANCE
In the beginning there was World and the World was with us,
filled with magnificent Flora and Fauna. As population increased
and technology developed, men started exploiting the Nature
with all her renewable and Non-renewable resources bringing
every living being to the brink of destruction calumniating in a
deplorable situation paving for the survival of the Fittest.
Though late, having realized this hazardous and progressively
diminishing process of Nature, men started conducting various
studies for the preservation of Nature. Our study is one among
such an attempt that we humbly put forward to bring awareness
among the common man in the augmentation of Natural Biodiversity.
Further, our study throws light on the imminent danger
due to anthropogenic activities coupled with the Natural
calamities.
For easy feasibility and understanding, we adopted the Play Way
Method, which seems silly yet comprehensible even to an
average on looker, to explain the concept of Bio-diversity. We
introduced this concept through a familiar game known 'Snake
and Ladder'. The snake represents destruction, deterioration and
the adverse effect of all constructive development and the
exploitation of Nature, while the ladder symbolizes harmonious
synchronization of development, the very Existence of life,
Biotic and Abiotic, unity brought about.
Every Activitix either man made or natural , have its direct
impact on the environment. The prevention, control and the
protection of all developmental activities can minimize the
volume and quantity of destruction which is the need of the
hour. Through this chart, we try to figure out events and
elements that are detrimental to the smooth flow of life on this
magnificent Earth.
Our sincere effort is to bring the world back to its beginning –
The Green World. following the instructions given in the chart
will definitely make our life safe and secure and help us to
contribute concretely for the preservation of all Bio – diversity.
