AN EXPERIMENT FOR
EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT
BUILDING
2012
The population of the world is increasing day by day.
Corollary to this the amenities being used by the persons
are also increasing. The most common necessity is
housing. Earthquake which are unpredictable and can
occur anywhere is a natural calamity. This calamity can
not be removed but can be controlled to certain extent.
In the present project submitted by Prakash Kumar a
model of earthquake resistant building has been proposed.
The device is simple. The model of building as proposed
is simplistic in nature and can lead to saving of human
lives and properties at the time of earthquake.
The device used is cost effective. The device needs to be
perfected for actual use. The concept is innovative and
appreciable.
