INTEGRATED MOSQUITO
CONTROL (BIO-CONTROL METHODS)
Integrated Mosquito Control (Bio-Control Methods)
Mosquito control is very difficult but must be attempted to
not only rid of our surroundings of annoying bites but also
to spread of mosquito borne health problems. In this
project I have showed different methods of killing repelling
and preventing mosquito infestation with the use of
different from Bio Control Methods in flying and larval of
mosquito in both indoors and outdoors using chemical
products surely will make resistant strain and make our
little enemy a 'Terrorist'. The different Bio control methods
showed in this project are (i) Bats and Bat housed (How to
attract Bat and make bat houses) (Butterfly bat can
consume 600-1000 mosquitoes) (ii) Photo catalysis.
Control mosquitoes in public area (mimic human breath,
also purifies air) (iii) Bacillus thuringiensis. (Kills the larval
form in a pond) (in the form of mosquito dunks) (iv)
Toxorhynchites (Elephant mosquito) feeds on other
mosquito larva especially Aides aegyrti. (v) Mosquito
controlling fishes – (Many can live in low oxygenated
water) (vi) Natural Predators varieties of birds like swallow
wabler and Tadpole and drangonfly nymp and carnivorous
plant. (vii) Mosquito control with plants – many plant such
as catnip, lemon, grass, lavender, Rosemary can act as a
powerful repellant. Catnip mosquito spray can be used in
exposed skin. Children's dresses can be dipped and dried
in diluted. Citronella (or) Rosemary oil will repell
mosquito. To conclude – It is clear only Integrated
Mosquito bio-control manages the population of mosquito
to reduce their damage to human health economic and
enjoyment and it is our duty to make the people to get
aware of this methods and understand it to control pest
(mosquito) population.
