SAVE ENERGY<br />

Aim – Saving <strong>of</strong> Electricity through reduction in<br />

Electricity consumption and cost.<br />

Material – PIR/S – passive infrared receiver sensor, Drive<br />

Circuit, Rellay Circuit, Bulb, Tinted Texture paper.<br />

Procedure – When a person enters into <strong>the</strong> home bulb<br />

glows. PIR gives information <strong>of</strong> person entering into home<br />

to <strong>the</strong> drive Circuit. Drive circuit increases <strong>the</strong> energy <strong>of</strong><br />

PIR and it transfers information to relay circuit. Rellay<br />

Circuit acts as a switch which put on <strong>the</strong> bulb without<br />

touching <strong>the</strong> switch. Street lamp will remain switch <strong>of</strong>f in<br />

<strong>the</strong> day time and will be on at night.<br />

Observation – It senses <strong>the</strong> movement <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> person<br />

within <strong>the</strong> range <strong>of</strong> 6m area. It reduces <strong>the</strong> cost <strong>of</strong> multiple<br />

wiring. This device on/<strong>of</strong>f on <strong>the</strong> sensing <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> movement<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> person. This it saves <strong>the</strong> Energy.<br />
