FOOT STEP POWER GENERATION<br />

SYSTEM FOR RURAL ENERGY<br />

APPLICATION TO RUN<br />

Introduction : Man has needed and used energy at an<br />

increasing rate for his sustenance and well being ever<br />

since he came on <strong>the</strong> earth a few million year ago. Due to<br />

this a lot <strong>of</strong> energy resources have been exhausted and<br />

wasted.<br />

Principle / Concept : In this project we are generating<br />

electrical power as non-conventional method by simply<br />

walking or running on <strong>the</strong> food step.<br />

Explanation : In this project conversion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> force<br />

energy into electrical energy. The control mechanism<br />

carries <strong>the</strong> piezo electric sensor.<br />

Analysis : Power generation we simply walking on <strong>the</strong><br />

step. Power also generated by running or exercising on <strong>the</strong><br />

step. No need fuel input. On -site power production<br />

circumvents transmission and distribution costs for <strong>the</strong><br />

delivery <strong>of</strong> electricity.<br />

Conclusion : A new generation <strong>of</strong> high frequency linear<br />

array using 1-3 composite is described. A set <strong>of</strong><br />

simulation tools has been carried out for modelling<br />

composite behaviour. This study demonstrates <strong>the</strong><br />

possibility <strong>of</strong> manufacturing composite with higher<br />

frequency <strong>the</strong>n currently done. Performances <strong>of</strong> this array<br />

could be considered as comfortable, regarding to current<br />

applications.<br />
