VERTICAL AXIS WIND
VANE GENERATION
Principle: It is a device which converts “Mechanical
energy” into “Electrical energy” , Basis from Anemometer
(Wind Vane)
Procedure of working:
Traditional wind vane produces when wind blows in the
Opposite direction to it wings where as VAWG produces
electricity when wind blows in Any direction in its wings.
This device produce electricity when wind blows in any
direction to it wing. Consists of three semicircular wings
fixed to a vertical axis. A pulley is fixed to the axis. First
wind enters into the hallow regime of semicircular wings,
by this wind exists some pressure of semicircular wings.
So that the wings will be rotated. Due to the rotation of
wings pulley attached to it rotates and the equipment
inside the electric motor rotates with the help of belt drive
by electricity pass electric motor through the copper wires
into LED glows.
