CHAPTER 300 - TRIAL AND SENTENCING<br />

AMEND Rule 4-354 by adding a new section (b) <strong>and</strong> a cross<br />

reference, as follows:<br />

Rule 4-354. ENFORCEMENT OF MONEY JUDGMENT<br />

(a) Generally<br />

A money judgment or other order for payment of a sum<br />

certain entered in a criminal action in favor of the State,<br />

including imposition of a fine, forfeiture of an appearance bond,<br />

<strong>and</strong> adjudication of a lien pursuant to Code, Article 27A, §7, may<br />

be enforced in the same manner as a money judgment entered in a<br />

civil action.<br />

(b) Judgment of Restitution<br />

A judgment of restitution may be enforced in the same<br />

manner as a monetary judgment entered in a civil action.<br />
