(D) the compensation <strong>and</strong> benefits of circuit court judges.<br />

2. Consultants.<br />

With the approval of the Chief Judge, the Conference may retain<br />

consultants in matters relating to the circuit courts.<br />

3. Consultation with Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals.<br />

The Conference shall consult with the Chief Judge of the Court<br />

of Appeals:<br />

(A) on the appointment of circuit judges to committees of<br />

the Judicial Conference in accordance with Rule 16-802 f 2; <strong>and</strong><br />

(B) to recommend circuit judges for membership on other<br />

committees <strong>and</strong> bodies of interest to the circuit courts.<br />

4. Business <strong>and</strong> Technology Case Management Committee of<br />

Program Judges.<br />

The Conference shall appoint a committee of not less than three<br />

program judges to perform the duties required by Rule 17-107 (b)<br />

<strong>and</strong> generally to advise the Conference regarding the Business <strong>and</strong><br />

Technology Case Management Program.<br />

4. 5. Majority Vote.<br />

The Conference <strong>and</strong> the Executive Committee of the Conference<br />

each shall exercise its powers <strong>and</strong> carry out its duties pursuant<br />

to a majority vote of its authorized membership.<br />
