(2) Any other appeal to the Court of Appeals allowed by law<br />

is governed by the other rules of this Title applicable to<br />

appeals, or by the law authorizing the direct appeal. In the<br />

event of a conflict, the law authorizing the direct appeal shall<br />

prevail. Except as otherwise required by necessary implication,<br />

references in those rules to the Court of Special Appeals shall<br />

be regarded as references to the Court of Appeals.<br />

(c) Certification of Questions of Law<br />

Certification of questions of law to the Court of Appeals<br />

pursuant to the Maryl<strong>and</strong> Uniform Certification of Questions of<br />

Law Act is governed by Rule 8-305.<br />

Code, Article 33 was revised in 1998, <strong>and</strong> Article 33, §19-4<br />

was renumbered at that time. Further revisions became effective<br />

January 1, 2003 because of Chapter 291 (SB 1), Acts of 2002,<br />

changing this provision to Code, Election Law Article, §12-203.<br />

Article 33 has been replaced by the Election Law Article.<br />
