Source: This Rule is new. REPORTER’S NOTE Proposed new Rule 6-464 is based upon Rule 7-105 and allows the orphans’ court to strike a notice of appeal under certain circumstances. This will address the problem occurring in various orphans’ courts of a party filing a notice of appeal, but then failing to pay the required fee or to transmit the record in a timely fashion. Under the existing Rules, there is no provision authorizing the orphans’ court to strike the notice of appeal. -222-
