TITLE 6 - SETTLEMENT OF DECEDENTS’ ESTATES<br />

CHAPTER 200 - SMALL ESTATE<br />

AMEND Rule 6-211 by deleting sections (b) <strong>and</strong> (d) <strong>and</strong> to<br />

make a certain stylistic change, as follows:<br />

Rule 6-211. PROCEEDINGS AFTER PUBLICATION<br />

(a) Payments <strong>and</strong> Distribution<br />

After the expiration of the time for filing claims <strong>and</strong> has<br />

expired, subject to the statutory order of priorities <strong>and</strong> subject<br />

to the resolution of disputed claims by the parties or the court,<br />

the personal representative shall (1) pay all proper claims,<br />

expenses, <strong>and</strong> allowances not previously paid; (2) if necessary,<br />

sell property of the estate in order to do so; <strong>and</strong> (3) distribute<br />

the remaining assets of the estate in accordance with the will<br />

or, if none, with the intestacy laws of this State.<br />

(b) Certificate of Compliance<br />

Within 60 days after the expiration of the time for filing<br />

claims, the personal representative shall file a Certificate of<br />

Compliance with the register in the following form:<br />
