7.4 Broadcast transmission<br />
You can send the same document to multiple parties (up<br />
to 20). To use this feature, store the fax numbers into<br />
broadcast memory as follows.<br />
Broadcast: Store items using one-touch dial or<br />
navigator directory (page 44).<br />
Manual broadcast: Store items using one-touch dial or<br />
navigator directory (page 44). You can also use the dial<br />
keypad to store items manually.<br />
Your programmed items will remain in the broadcast<br />
memory, allowing frequent re-use.<br />
L The broadcast function utilises station 1–3. The onetouch<br />
dial function will be cancelled.<br />
L Make sure that the {K} light is ON.<br />
7.4.1 Programming items into the<br />
broadcast memory<br />
1 Press {Y} repeatedly to display “DIRECTORY<br />
SET”.<br />
2 Select the desired broadcast key.<br />
For BROADCAST 1–2:<br />
1. {O}<br />
2. Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to select<br />
“BROADCAST”.<br />
For MANUAL BROADCAST:<br />
1. {P}<br />
2. Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to select “MANUAL<br />
BROAD”.<br />
3 {OK}<br />
4 Program items.<br />
Using station 1–5:<br />
Press the desired station key.<br />
Using station 6–10:<br />
Press {S}, then press the desired station key.<br />
Using navigator directory:<br />
Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to display the desired<br />
item. i {OK}<br />
Using the dial keypad (only for manual<br />
broadcast):<br />
Enter the fax number. i {OK}<br />
L The number in brackets indicates the number of<br />
registered items.<br />
L To program other items, repeat this step (up to 20<br />
items).<br />
L If you have programmed the wrong item, press<br />
{W} to erase the item.<br />

L To program another broadcast key, repeat steps<br />
2 to 5.<br />
