7.4 Broadcast transmission
You can send the same document to multiple parties (up
to 20). To use this feature, store the fax numbers into
broadcast memory as follows.
Broadcast: Store items using one-touch dial or
navigator directory (page 44).
Manual broadcast: Store items using one-touch dial or
navigator directory (page 44). You can also use the dial
keypad to store items manually.
Your programmed items will remain in the broadcast
memory, allowing frequent re-use.
L The broadcast function utilises station 1–3. The onetouch
dial function will be cancelled.
L Make sure that the {K} light is ON.
7.4.1 Programming items into the
broadcast memory
1 Press {Y} repeatedly to display “DIRECTORY
SET”.
2 Select the desired broadcast key.
For BROADCAST 1–2:
1. {O}
2. Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to select
“BROADCAST”.
For MANUAL BROADCAST:
1. {P}
2. Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to select “MANUAL
BROAD”.
3 {OK}
4 Program items.
Using station 1–5:
Press the desired station key.
Using station 6–10:
Press {S}, then press the desired station key.
Using navigator directory:
Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to display the desired
item. i {OK}
Using the dial keypad (only for manual
broadcast):
Enter the fax number. i {OK}
L The number in brackets indicates the number of
registered items.
L To program other items, repeat this step (up to 20
items).
L If you have programmed the wrong item, press
{W} to erase the item.
5 {OK}
L To program another broadcast key, repeat steps
2 to 5.
