Proposed Moorhouse Farmers Windfarm
What Happens Next?
If the environmental impact assessment (EIA) demonstrates that the effects
from the project are acceptable a planning application will be submitted early in
the new year
The application will be decided by East Renfrewshire Council after a further
statutory consultation period when the plans and EIA will be available. You will
have an opportunity to comment to the Council at this stage
If granted planning consent the project would be constructed once any
conditions the Council have placed on us have been fully met
After construction, a wind farm would be operational for approximately 25
years. We would then be required to decommission the wind farm and make
another planning application for a new project
