I understand 100-ton cranes and other very heavy equipment is required, and tracks will have to be formed to take them to site. What route will there tracks take? 13 Have you done hydrology/geophysical studies to try to predict the ground conditions? Is there peat on the site, and if so will it be disturbed? 14 The paperwork says this is a good site because it is near the central belt. Is it not the case that windfarms feed into the grid for all of the UK and it doesn't matter where they are? Electricity is not consumed locally, so that factor is irrelevant. 15 Do you agree that there will be cumulative impact with Whitelee? Our team includes engineers and environmental consultants. The track layout is under development and may be subject to change as the EIA is undertaken. The website will be updated when the design is finalised.
