way and maybe encourage more cycling and
less car usage through to Whitelee
7. Email 02.10.09 Resident of We object to your proposed construction of
Eaglesham
Moorhouse Farmers windfarm
We live in Eaglesham. This construction is
an unnecessary profiteering exercise which
would overload the area with turbines and
destroy the views
No amount of PR or quasi-green persuasion
from your company will alter our
position, which is common to those villagers
whom we have so far canvassed, and should
you submit plans to East Renfrewshire
Council, we will rally opposition collectively
through the village and the school
8. Email 07.10.09 Consultee As an Eco School we are keen to teach our
pupils about providing Energy in an
environmentally friendly way. Can you tell
me the costs involved in bringing a class and
the age range and numbers you cater for
9. Face to 08.10.09 Landowners Turbine Positions
Face
(involved with Wtg 17; too close to gas pipeline
project) at South
marker. May need to move NE?
Moorhouse, East Wtgs 15,16 and 18; owner would like
Moorhouse,
them moved as far as possible to the
Bonnyton Moor,
east. Good ground to place turbines on
North
except for a degraded peat area to east
Moorhouse,
of Boshee Hill
Shieldhill
Roadlines
Change roadline round Bennan Hill to
avoid steep slope down to reservoir
Keep roadline as far east as reasonable
on East Moorhouse between wtg 15 and
