4 HOW THE PAC HAS MET PAN 81 GUIDANCE
PAN 81: Community Engagement – Planning with people provides advice to planning authorities and developers on how communities should
be properly engaged in the planning process and sets out good practice. Its ten standards for delivering effective community engagement in
land use planning and how they have been met through PAC are identified in Table 4.1.
