4 HOW THE PAC HAS MET PAN 81 GUIDANCE<br />

PAN 81: Community Engagement – Planning with people provides advice to planning authorities and developers on how communities should<br />

be properly engaged in the planning process and sets out good practice. Its ten standards for delivering effective community engagement in<br />

land use planning and how they have been met through PAC are identified in Table 4.1.<br />
