the same consultee
that 2 months ago we were over the moon
with the growth even in today’s market
conditions, however this was before any
definitive news on the windfarm...If 50
people came to view our house then 50 out
of 50 would be in "awe" of the views as it
stands today. If this windfarm goes ahead
then the same 50 people would be
commenting on how lovely the house was
but how awful the view would be. Therefore
significantly affecting my future house value
too.
For the past 5 years we have put up with the
trucks going to and from the quarry at The
Floak. The proposal is that of a quarry for
local stone to be used for this windfarm...is it
going to be the same thing?...Trucks going
to and from here at ridiculously dangerous
speeds, putting my kids at risk whilst playing
outside?
Currently I can see the propellers of the
windmills at what is being described as the
largest windfarm in Europe. Why is there
then the need for this one in such close
proximity not only to Whitelee but to my
home?
In the past three years two new houses have
been approved to be built and now the same
family are proposing a windfarm...in an area
protected by building rules and regulations
how is this possible? Why is permission
being given to said projects when the area
should be being conserved?
