Invalid Notice – Proposal of Application Notice
Thank you for you for your letter dated 10 July 2009 requesting further
information on our Proposal of Application Notice. We have responded to
your points below.
1. Please confirm that you have consulted the Community Councils
and on which date.
1. Eaglesham and Waterfoot Community Council were consulted by letter in
May 2008. This was followed up with a telephone call during which it was
agreed that the EIA core team and Community Council would meet during
the EIA process to discuss the developing proposals.
2. Please confirm that you have provided the Community Councils
with the proposal of application notice and when this was done.
2. A copy of the proposal of application notices has been provided to
Eaglesham and Waterfoot Community Council, Mearns Community Council
and Fenwick Community Council on 29 June 2006 (please see Table 6.1 in
Attachment 1 in the Proposal of Application Notice, I have re-attached this
for ease of reference). John Sandyman from Mearns Community Council
responded to the notice with a phone call on 14 July 2009 to discuss their
concerns and request further information which has been provided.
3. Please confirm the exact date and location of the public event.
3. The exact date of the public event has not been confirmed as this is
dependant on the EIA and developing proposals however it is planned to
take place in September 2009 at the Eglinton Arms Hotel in Eaglesham.
