As part of this development
the developers, Falck
Renewables, will make annual
community benefit payments
to a Community Fund. This
fund can make payments to
community projects, often
acting as a seed fund to match
finance where this is needed
to access public funds. There
will also be an opportunity to
invest in the windfarm. Falck's
practice is to contract with
Energy4All, who will set up a
co-operative, seeking
investment from local people.
Income accrues to the cooperative
from the revenue
stream of the wind farm, in
proportion to the money raised
in the public offer.
Coriolis Energy LLP Project
Developer met with consultee in
person on 10.12.09 to discuss the
proposals:
Consultee asked for wirelines
from their property
Expressed dislike for the
proposals
Is worried about value of their
property
Stated that the road to South
Moorhouse is quiet but
already dangerous and wants
to know how construction
traffic would be controlled
