As part of EIA the effects of
construction and operational
traffic are assessed and
mitigation developed to reduce
any significant adverse
effects. Also as part of the
EIA process a landscape and
visual assessment is
undertaken. As part of the
visual assessment viewpoints
in the area surrounding the
site will be selected as
representative of the range of
views and types of viewer
likely to be affected by the
project. Once the design is
finalised it would be possible
to create a wireline diagram to
demonstrate how much of the
windfarm would be visible
from your property.
The north east corner of the
site is zoned in the East
Renfrewshire Local Plan
under Policy E2 as Greenbelt.
We have sited proposed
turbines and access tracks
outwith this area.
