used as public water supply reservoirs.
The five farms involved in the project are:
Shieldhill;
South Moorhouse;
North Moorhouse;
East Moorhouse; and
Bonnyton Moor.

2.3 ADDRESS OF THE SITE
There is no postal address for the site. The proposed development is located to
the west of Eaglesham and some eight km south west of Glasgow, between the
M77 and the B764 (NGR NS 527 507) (see Figure 2.1).

2.5 SCREENING OPINION
The proposals were identified as being classed as ‘major’ development (see
Section 1.2). Therefore a requirement for PAC was assumed and a Screening
Opinion was not sought from ERC.
2.6 PROPOSAL OF APPLICATION NOTICE (PAN)
A Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) was submitted on 29 June 2009 to:
ERC Planning Department;
Eaglesham and Waterfoot Community Council (CC) 10 ;
Mearns Community Council; and
Fenwick Community Council.
